The iPad alarm clock

The iPad alarm clock

Here is a docking station for the iPad, but this is no ordinary iPad dock for this is also an alarm clock too and with the use of a free app, the user can set the alarm to play a certain music track or two! The user can even set the snooze periods from one to twenty nine minutes.

These are the details for this interesting and useful iPad alarm clock;

An app lets users wake to the music they prefer at snooze intervals from 1-29 minutes-played through the dock’s built-in speakers-while displaying weather reports, personal reminders, and overnight updates from Facebook and Twitter. If the app is not running, the dock’s failover alarm ensures you are still awakened on schedule. A digital signal processor and an equalizer produce exceptionally full, rich audio from your iPad or the dock’s FM radio with 10 pre-sets. The dock also functions as a wireless speakerphone when paired with a Bluetooth enabled cell phone and it holds and charges most iPhones and iPods. Compatible with iPad and iPad2. Includes a remote control. Plugs into AC. 3 1/4″ H x 6 3/4″ W x 11 1/4″ L. AC. (3 1/4 lbs.)

Just in case you don't want to take advantage of the touchscreen display by navigating it using your fingers, there is always an accompanying remote control for couch potatoes. Violight goes ultraviolent on your gadgets, leaves germ corpses in its wake

Violight goes ultraviolent on your gadgets, leaves germ corpses in its wake

Violight has been in the business of UV-based germicide since way back in 2004, but now it's bringing its wares closer to our geeky hearts. Its new Cell Phone Sanitizer will nuke 99 percent of all germs and bacteria slithering around your phone or MP3 player, and it'll do it in under 5 minutes too. Or such is the claim, anyhow. Alternative applications for this ultra-versatile product include using it as gift packaging or as a display stand in stores -- you've got to love that added value right there. Some patience will be required before you lay down $49.95 for your very own UV zapper, as Violight's Sanitizer isn't hitting the market until at least October.

iBend is an iPhone Stand in your Pocket

iBend is an iPhone Stand in your Pocket

You've got to love the simplicity of the iBend. This rigid vinyl iPhone stand is so slim you can fit it in your wallet, purse, or even your iPhone's case. Remove it, and you've got a convenient way to prop up your iPhone for a little video viewing. It also works with the iPod Touch and the Nexus One.

As you can see on the iBend site, it comes in some attractively designed patterns. The price is a low $4.99, and that's for two iBends, so it's nice to see an iPhone accessory that doesn't price gouge. If you've ever been sitting at a coffee shop or on a plane and wished you could prop your iPhone up while you watch a movie, then it's $5 well spent.
