Quattro case for iPhone looks like poo

Quattro case for iPhone looks like poo

I have seen some ugly phone cases over the years, but this takes the cake. The iPhone 3GS has a video camera and a better still cam than previous models, but if you were hoping for more zoom with the 3GS and really like odd cases the Quattro for iPhone SP may be for you.

The thing looks like something a steampunk fan would cook up for the iPhone. The Quattro is offered by Factron. The case is cut from two separate sheets of duralumin and has a mount over the lens area that allows interchangeable external lenses to be attached.

There are ‘many’ different lenses for the case and it is made from aluminum and stainless steel for protection. The black padded are of the case is covered in leather. I’m not sure how much the case costs, but I am sure it’s more than the thing is worth.

Sound Jacket For iPod Nano

Sound Jacket For iPod Nano

As if the iPod nano doesn't already have more than enough of its fair share of accessories, along comes the Sound Jacket - an inline peripheral for the fourth generation device that will perform hardware equalization of a nano's output. Theoretically, this helps compensate distortion alongside lost quality during file compression, and Radiopaq - the brains behind the Sound Jacket, has tipped a quality improvement of up to 60% in some circumstances. In addition, the Sound Jacket comes with its own amplifier that will further boost the newly-adjusted output. Some frequencies will also be able to experience a doubling in volume over an unassisted iPod. Interested? Gotta be prepared to fork out £70 for this.

NES controller iPhone dock

NES controller iPhone dock

It was made by an iPhone.fr forum member WCR for his new iPhone 3GS. It is a NES controller iPhone dock. From the picture, we can tell that a little outlet was cut on the front surface for the connector, a USB cable replaced the controller’s wire and for sure some weight was put on the controller to hold the iPhone from falling. More pictures after the break.
