Sold in separate versions for the third-generation iPod nano ($15), iPod classic ($17) and iPod touch ($17), ShadesCases' new Shades are each sold in ten colors, except for the iPod nano's nine. Pitched as not quite cases and not quite skins, the Shades are soft plastic shells that cover the entire iPod except for its headphone port, Dock Connector, and Hold switch, using either clear or translucent colored material that always lets you see the screen while either passing through the iPod's body colors or re-tinting them.
