Finally, an acceptable iPhone tripod adapter
You might've noticed the iPhone has a decent camcorder on board, but no image stabilization. That's why we've been looking for a dependable tripod mount, an unsuccessful search until now. The XShot iPhone case is made of shiny plastic, but has a standard 1/4-inch threaded tripod mount on the bottom.
At long last, we can mount up our iPhone camcorder without using precarious suction cups. This'll be great for time-lapse work, and for shooting rock-solid videos that the iPhone makes oh-so-easy to upload to YouTube.
Too bad we'll have to wait until November to get one of these puppies for $29.95, but preorders get a $10 discount.
