IPod JBL radial micro 8

JBL.jpg

JBL's original Radial is one of our favorite iPod speaker systems, thanks to impressive audio quality - among the best of any desktop system for the iPod - and an attractive design. However, this is particularly expensive so to attract more buyers, JBL shrank the Radial down, and called the less-expensive result Radial Micro.

Now, JBL is releasing its latest for the Radial, the JBL Radial Micro 8. The Radial Micro 8 basically still has the same eye-catching design - a circular shape surrounding a Universal iPod dock. The Radial Micro 8 includes a 1/8-inch stereo-input minijack for listening to an audio source other than a dockable iPod (cable included), as well as a USB-B port for connecting the system to your computer to sync your iPod with iTunes (cable not included).

At $150, the Radial Micro 8 isn't the least expensive desktop/compact speaker system, but it's an attractive option - figuratively and literally - given its good sound quality and standout design.
