iTPA-220 iPod Tube Amplifier

itr220_header.jpg

DICE Electronics is proud to launch their high-end iPod tube amplifier system, the iTPA-220. The amplifier system has an auxiliary input for additional audio devices such as a computer or any MP3 players. It also features a video output for use with the video iPods. Speakers feature a bass reflex port to increase bass response.

The unit comes with a remote control with features such as volume control, mute, next/previous track, play and pause functions. The built in 2x20 Watt solid state amplifier, the 4' mid/bass driver and the 1' dome tweeter create a wide dynamic range for an enhanced music quality.

The dual 6N3 tubes in the preamplifier gives the listener the warmest sound and the clearest highs ever heard from an iPod docking station. The 'warmth' and 'richness' typically associated with 'valve sound' comes from the presence of 2nd order distortion smoothing the output soundwave. The tube preamplifier creates a more natural sound as opposed to the often harsh, dry sound of digital audio.
