Providing an easy solution for listening to your iPod in your car is Alpine's IDA-X100 system. An upgrade on the IDA-X001 system, the unit sports a 2.2' touchscreen that mimics the iPod's User Interface. The unit also features Bluetooth audio streaming, a USB port for memory stick audio playback and HD/Sat radio readiness. The Tag and Sync function allows you to key in HD radio songs for later purchase on iTunes plus has AAC and WMA support. The line up includes X200 and X300 models that don't sport the screen however the iDA-X200 offers the ability to work with Alpine's Sound Imprint system while the iDA-X300 features USB input for other media devices such as flash drives.
Alpine's IDA-X100 lineups don't feature the flip clock and are 'CD mechanism-less', and will be available in the States around springtime for around $450. Team the unit with Alpine's Type-X Component speaker sets for the perfect sound.
